Our Story

Tangled Garden has grown out of one woman's passion for beauty and flavour.

Mystical ambiance and award-winning products

Test

Inspired by the image of a sprig of thyme suspended in shimmering jelly, Beverly McClare acquired a handyman special and an acre of land in Grand Pré, Nova Scotia.

That was thirty years ago. Marrying her artist’s eye, foodie’s palate and a farmer’s capacity for hard work, she created Tangled Garden.

Recognized for its mystical ambiance and award-winning products, Tangled Garden is now known as a must-stop destination located in the heart of the Annapolis Valley. With accolades and shining reviews from Canada House and Home, Lonely Planet Guide and with features in Martha Stewart Living and Jamie Oliver, fans from all over the world visit us time and time again, always quick to comment on the unique beauty of the garden, products and tea room. With an on-site shop, kitchen, tea room, wedding tent, labyrinth, and gardens upon gardens, this place will entice, delight, amuse and move you.
